<br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Elvig, seconded by Commissioner Jeffrey, to approve the following <br />minutes: <br /> <br />Regular Meeting Minutes dated March 10, 2009 <br />Special Meeting Minutes dated March 17, 2009 <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Dehen, Commissioners Elvig, Jeffrey, McGlone and <br />Ramsey. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmembers Look and Wise. <br /> <br />HRA BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Adopt a Resolution to Ratify the Appointment of an Executive Director <br /> <br />Councilmember Look arrived at the meeting at 6:05 p.m. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich recommended that he be appointed the Executive Director for the <br />HRA. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Ramsey, seconded by Commissioner Look, to Adopt Resolution <br />#HRA-09-06-004 to Ratify the Appointment of the City Administrator as Executive Director. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Dehen, Commissioners Ramsey, Look, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />and McGlone. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Wise. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Authorize and Application to Anoka County for Abatement of Special <br />Assessments on Ramsey Town Center Foreclosed Parcels <br /> <br />Community Development Director Miller reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Chair Dehen confirmed that this is a money shifting measure to prevent the City from having to <br />write out a big check. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig asked if there was any risk ifthis doesn't happen on the date specified. <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund stated that there isn't any risk, but it needs to happen before June 30, 2009, <br />to retain the tax-exempt status. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted a typo and made a suggestion for different wording in the <br />resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Ramsey, seconded by Commissioner Jeffrey, to amend the Resolution <br />language and add "entered into" on the first line of page 1 of 5 of the resolution. <br /> <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority / June 9, 2009 <br />Page 2 of4 <br />
