Motion by Councilmember Wise, seconded by Councilmember McGlone, to continue the public <br />hearing to the September 8, 2009, City Council meeting, at 7:00 p.m. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Wise, McGlone, Dehen, Elvig, <br />and Look. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br />Council Business <br />Mayor Ramsey called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:33 p.m. <br />Case #2: Public Hearing to Consider Execution of Business Subsidy Agreement with <br />QDP &JBT Alliance, LLC <br />Mayor Ramsey closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:33 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br />Public Hearine <br />Mayor Ramsey called the public heazing to order at 7:33 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan reviewed the staff report. <br />Citizen Input <br />There was none. <br />Motion by Councilmember Dehen, seconded by Councilmember Look, to close the public <br />heazing. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Dehen, Look, Elvig, McGlone, <br />and Wise. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:36 p.m. <br />Council Business <br />Mayor Ramsey called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:36 p.m. <br />Troy Holien, QDP Technologies, stated they are a machine shop and provide parts for all types <br />of industries, including recreation, medical, and automotive. <br />Jeff Traun, JBT Machining, stated they are also a machine shop and they work with 16 different <br />industries, including medical, packaging equipment, and the food industry.
