<br />Commissioners went through findings of facts; finding #22, will not; #23 will not; #24 will not, <br />#25 will not; #26, may; #27 split into two findings - may be hazardous and will be disturbing; <br />#28 will; #29 will not and will not; #30 will not and will not. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dunaway stated he is empathetic to the applicant's situation, the use is <br />inconsistent with the neighborhood, and to remain consistent in his decision making he would <br />have to oppose this permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Comtp.issioner Cleveland, seconded by Commissioner Hunt, to recommend City <br />Council adopt the amended findings of fact relating to the applicant's request for a home <br />occupation permit. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Cleveland, Hunt, Rogers, and <br />Van Scoy. Voting No: Dunaway. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Review; Case of JBT Machining, Inc. and QDP <br />Technologies, Inc. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated that the lots in the minor subdivision would have to meet city <br />standards. It is atypical, but does occur that the city retains ownership of outlots with drainage <br />ponds. An access agreement will need to be obtained with this subdivision. <br /> <br />Assistant City Engineer Jankowski stated storm water drainage has been discussed with the <br />applicants and he would like to make sure those engineering comments are taken into account. <br />The easements are needed for MPCA to maintain access to their wells and to the City's northerly <br />lot. <br /> <br />Jeff Tron and Troy Holien, the applicants explained the reason for the lot split. They operate as <br />two separate businesses; however, they are working together on this site plan and building to <br />share the costs. They stated they have read the staff review letter and had no concerns with it. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Dunaway, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy, to recommend City <br />Council approve the site plan, contingent upon conformance with the City Staff Review Letter <br />dated July 31, 2009. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Dunaway, Van Scoy, <br />Cleveland, Hunt and Rogers. Voting No: None.
