The feedback was gathered in three different forums: <br /> <br />· August 6th Key Stakeholders Meeting. City staff identified key stakeholders in the <br />community and invited them to attend a meeting with city staff, the Ramsey Town <br />Center task force members and City Council members. At that meeting, Landform <br />provided a survey and asked all attendees to complete the form. Ten stakeholder <br />feedback forms were received. <br />· Ramsey Town Center Businesses/Associations. Landform met individually with as <br />many Ramsey Town Center businesses as possible to gather their feedback: That <br />summary is provided in the attached memo. <br />· September 2nd Open House. The open house was very well attended (more than 80 <br />people attended) and we received 33 stakeholder feedback forms. <br /> <br />Additionally, Landform has been asked to meet with several additional businesses in the City to <br />provide them with an update on the process and gather feedback. This work was authorized by the <br />City Council on September 8th and Landform will meet with as many of these businesses as possible <br />and provide feedback to the City by the end of the month. <br /> <br />All of the stakeholder feedback forms have been summarized and attached to this memo. <br /> <br />In general, the feedback indicates residents still believe that quality design and amenities is <br />important (Community Elements & Amenities was ranked #1 and Design/Identity was ranked #3 as <br />key components in the survey). However, stakeholders also believe that the plan needs to be <br />revisited in light of the current market conditions to address some uses that were either not planned <br />for in the original vision or have not yet been constructed. Restaurants and small retail are still the <br />most desirable retail, but big box retail is also strongly desired. Single family homes and senior <br />housing continue to be highly desired by the stakeholders. <br /> <br />There were some distinctions in the feedback worth noting as the early feedback comprised <br />predominantly of businesses and stakeholders was more heavily focused on the viability of the <br />project in today's market, while the resident feedback seemed more focused on amenities and <br />housing types.
