Co~~ # S <br />Gouncilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption; <br />RESOLUTION #09-Q9-~:~X <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO NORTHWEST ASPHALT, INC. FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #Q8,37, COUNTY FOND STORM SEWER OUTLET <br />WHEREAS, on October 28; .2008 the Ramsey City Council authorized the solicitaion of bids <br />from plans prepared by staff, and; <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project 08-37,Cou~nty Pond <br />Storm Sewer Outlet, bids were received, opened. and tabulated according to law, and; <br />WHEREAS, on December 9,.2008 the Ramsey City Council. awarded the contract for IP#0&37 <br />to Northwest Asphalt in the amount of $392,249.1.7. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends 1St partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Ina in the amount of <br />$159,694.20. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends 2"d partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of <br />$15,033.75. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends 3`d partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of <br />$12,644.93. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends 4th partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of <br />$92,664.09. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends 5th partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of <br />$29,791.62. <br />WIIEREAS,, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends 6th partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of <br />$9,874.30. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Northwest Asphalt for Improvement <br />Project 08-37 County Pond Storm Sewer Outlet in the amount of $9,874.30. <br />RESOLUTION #09-09-x:XX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
