Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #09-09-XXX RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #09-03 (SEALCOATING AND CRACKSEALING OF GREENLAND HILLS & PINEVIEW ESTATES) WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City Council .has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the Improvement Project #09-03, which is includes the cracksealing and sealcoating of: 149th Ave. from Uranimite St. to Ramsey Blvd. 149th Lane from Armstrong Blvd. to Willemite St. 150th Lane. from Armstrong Blvd. to Cul de sac east of Peridot 151st Lane from Alpaca St.. to Chameleon St 152nd Lane from Armstrong Blvd. to Yolite St. Alpaca St. from 151st Lane to Cul de sac n/o 152nd Lane Bison St. from 149th Lane to 150th Lane Chameleon St. from 149th Lane to Cul de sac Chameleon St. from 151st Lane to 152nd Lane Peridot St. from 149th Ave. to 150th Lane Uranimite St. from 149th Ave. to 150th Lane Willemite St. from 149th Lane to 152nd Ave. Yolite St. from 150th to 152nd Lane Zeolite St. from 149th Lane to 150th Lane NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE _ CITY~OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2) That such assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of three years, the first of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 2010 and shall bear interest at the rate of 5.44 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment interest shall be added on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 2010. To each subsequent installment, when due, interest shall be added for one year on all unpaid installments. Resolution #09-09-XXX Page 1 of 2
