Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-08-~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CHARTER COMMISSION TO CONSIDER <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 8 OF THE CITY CHARTER, RELATED TO THE COUNTER <br />PETITION PROCESS ON PUBLIC STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 8.4.4 of the City Charter references the process for counter-petitioning <br />public improvement projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend this section requesting a super majority on such <br />counter~petition requests related to public street improvements;. and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The City CoUncil requests the Charter Commission consider an amendment to Section 8.4.4 of the <br />City Charter. <br /> <br />.
