TOWN CENTER GARDENS CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT PLAN

RAMSEY, MINNESOTA
H KGi recently teamed with Bright KEYS to explore the potential for a new neighborhood in
Ramsey, MN. The site will act as an extension of the newly planned and currently evolving
Ramsey Town Center project immediately to the south and west. HKGi has facilitated
discussions with the City and through years of experience in Ramsey has brought helpful
insights to Bright KEYS for the project.

The concept plan proposes medium and high density housing throughout, with a core park
space at the center of the project. The orientation of the rowhouses and apartments is
to the adjacent streets in order to build upon the Town Center idea of defining the public
corridors with consistent architectural features. The plan reduces density toward the north
edge of the property to acknowledge the existing single family neighborhoods that lie to
the north. Streets and utilities have been coordinated with adjacent projects and uses and
the plan has been designed to grow to the northwest if land becomes available.

The plan builds upon the patterns promoted in the adjacent Town Center area by providing a public edge to the
development with architectural features.

RELATED EXPERIENCE

HKGi
Park Design Services - Page 15
