<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Topic Report: RTC Joint Powers Agreement <br />with Anoka County <br />By: Leonard Linton, Civil Engineer II <br /> <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey entered into a Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County for improvement <br />of regional roadways adjacent to the Ramsey Town Center Project in 2005. Specifically the <br />agreement covers Armstrong Boulevard, Bunker Lake Boulevard and Ramsey Boulevard. The <br />agreement covered improvements to Sunfish Lake Boulevard between Highway lO and the <br />Bunker Lake Boulevard intersection. A traffic signal at Sunwood Drive and Bunker Lake <br />Boulevard was also included in the agreement. <br /> <br />Staff is providing the executed agreement and a map showing the improvements and the projected <br />cost of each improvement for review. A future work session will address a detailed review of the <br />joint powers agreement. <br /> <br />Funding Source: <br /> <br />The agreement contemplated multiple sources of funding for the project.
