Al and Dave Pearson and I met with Kurt Ulrich
and Heidi Nelson on June 18, 2009~ concerning this potential possibility.

We believe that the south parcel (south of Hwy 10 containing 126 acres less the
farmstead, more or less) would be a great place for the City of Ramsey to develop an
industrial park or light industrial park with heavy commercial building and storage
opportunitIes. In addition, there are opportunities for parks and residential areas in the
southern wooded area which would greatly enhance the community's opportunities for a
residential park.

We further believe that the City should control this rather large space. so that the
City can best deal-with the solicitation and encouragement of companies III light industry
'aIi<;lc'ommercialactivities to relocate in the City of Ramsey enhancing the potential real
estate~taxbas~and creating jobs for the community. Since the retail center development
app~ars north of the railroad tracks, it woul~ seem appr?I?riate that. this untouched a!ea is
npe for development and would be best sUIted to provldmg the CIty of Ramsey WIth an
industrial park or business park.

11
