Case #5: Adopt Resolution #09- 10 -XXX Amending Section 10.1 of the Personnel Policy: Travel Policy (removed from consent and added as a regular case) MAYOR/COUNCIL /STAFF INPUT 1. RTC Steering Committee Update. A verbal update from the Ramsey Town Center Steering Committee will be given at this time. 2. Anoka County Area Chamber Annual Breakfast Meeting. The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce will begin its 59th year of operation with the Annual Meeting on October 15. The event will be held at the Fountains of Ramsey, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The Chamber will be honoring Boardmembers, Business of the Year and President Award winners will be announced. The guest speaker will be Chris Wright, President of the Minnesota Timberwolves. 3. Sunday, October 25, 2009 — Benefit for Tyler LaZerte — at the Fountains of Ramsey. Dinner is from 1:00 to 2:30 and live auction begins at 2:30. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children and are available at the front desk at City Hall. 4. November 3 City Council Work Session. There will be no City Council Work Session on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, due to the Anoka Hennepin School District Election. However, the City Council and the Ramsey Town Center Steering Committee will meet on Monday, November 2, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for a Vision/Vantage /Voice session re Ramsey Town Center with Anne Berg of Vyway. 5. School District #11 Election: ° Anoka - Hennepin School District #11 will be holding an election on Tuesday, November 3, to vote on renewing a levy that is expiring. The levy was originally approved 10 years ago to help cover the District's operating costs.
