Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners, Cleveland, Van Scoy, Dunaway, Hunt, and Rogers. Voting No: None. Absent: None. Case #3: Public Hearing — Request for a Home Occupation Permit; Case of David and Jean Hauan Public Hearing Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 8:42 p.m. Presentation Planning Manager Miller presented the Staff Report Citizen Input Dave Hauan, 16341 Jarvis. Street, the applicant stated he has been operating his father & son business for fifteen years. The business is heavily screened. The reason he is before the Commission is that he does the septic maintenance and repair for the City and before he could continue he needed to receive a home occupation permit. Commissioners discussed the screening of the property and determined additional screening was not necessary. Motion by Chairperson Levine, seconded by Commissioner Dunaway, to close the public hearing. Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners, Dunaway, Cleveland, Hunt, Rogers, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: None. The public hearing closed at 8:57 p.m. Commission Business Motion by Commissioner Dunaway, seconded by Commissioner Rogers, to recommend City Council adopt the findings of fact favorable relating to the applicant's request for a home occupation permit. Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Dunaway, Rogers, Cleveland, and Hunt. Voting No: None. Absent: None. Motion by Chairperson Levine, seconded by Commissioner Dunaway, to recommend that the City Council approve the applicant's request for a home occupation permit based on the findings of fact with removal of #7 of the home occupation permit.
