CITY COUNCIL/PLANNING WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a Joint City Council Work Session with the Planning <br />Commission on Thursday, September 3, 2009, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood <br />Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Commissioners Present: Commissioner Ralph Hunt <br />Commissioner Andrew Dunaway <br />Commissioner Teresa Cleveland <br />Commissioner Ralph Brauer <br />Commissioner Gary Levine <br />Members Present: Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Also Present: <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Planning Manager Amber Miller <br />Police Officer Cary Schiferli <br />Environmental Coordinator Chris Anderson <br />Associate Planner Tim Gladhill <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Off - Street Parking Regulations in Residential Districts <br />Planning Manager Miller reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that this ordinance had been modeled after the City of Coon <br />Rapids, and provided an example of a resident who repaired bicycles and had over 200 bicycles <br />on the property.
