2. Anoka County Area Chamber Annual Breakfast Meeting. The Anoka Area Chamber <br />of Commerce will begin its 59th year of operation with the Annual Meeting on October <br />15. The event will be held at the Fountains of Ramsey, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The <br />Chamber will be honoring Boardmembers, Business of the Year and President Award <br />winners will be announced. The guest speaker will be Chris Wright, President of the <br />Minnesota Timberwolves. <br />3. Sunday, October 25, 2009 — Benefit for Tyler LaZerte — at the Fountains of Ramsey. <br />Dinner is from 1:00 to 2:30 and live auction begins at 2:30. Tickets are $15 for adults <br />and $10 for children and are available at the front desk at City Hall. <br />4. November 3 City Council Work Session. There will be no City Council Work Session <br />on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, due to the Anoka Hennepin School District Election. <br />However, the City Council and the Ramsey Town Center Steering Committee will meet <br />on Monday, November 2, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for a Vision/Vantage/Voice <br />session re Ramsey Town Center with Anne Berg of Vyway. <br />5. School District #11 Election: Anoka- Hennepin School District #11 will be holding an <br />election on Tuesday, November 3, to vote on renewing a levy that is expiring. The levy <br />was originally approved 10 years ago to help cover the District's operating costs.
