V oting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Dehen, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #9: <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution Approving Proposed 2010 Payable Tax Levy <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember Look noted this was a 9.8 percent decrease. He stated they were not only <br />cutting the decrease in property values, but additionally were cutting from the City budget. He <br />stated this Council was aware of the conditions and lived within its means. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated he was pleased staffwas able to suggest reductions to "keep a lid on <br />the budget". He noted there would probably be some cuts in services though. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adopt Resolution 09- <br />09-209 approving the proposed 2009, payable 2010, tax levy. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Look, Dehen, Elvig, <br />McGlone, and Wise.
