<br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adopt Resolution #09- <br />09-XXX accepting a request for reassignment; and appointing Tim Frankfurt in the position left <br />vacant. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Look, Dehen, Jeffrey, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey announced that October Polka Fest would be held October 2, 2009, from 2:00 to <br />5:00 p.m., at the Al Pearson farm at 8846 Highway #10 NW. <br /> <br />City AdrllinistI'ator Ulrich reported that a special session Council meeting would be held on <br />Tuesday, September 29th; Recycle day is Saturday, September 26th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., <br />at the Public Works Facility; a benefit event for Anok~ Hennepin scholarships would be held at <br />Rum River Central Park; and a Taste of Community by Youth First, would be held Thursday, <br />October 21 5t at Greenhaven.. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey advised that the Ramsey Town Steering Committee had met once since <br />the last update and would be meeting again on Thursday. . <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adjourn the meeting to <br />closed session. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 10:18 p.m. to conduct a closed session <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Kurtis G.
