<br />Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-07-137 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO DRYDEN EXCA V A TING FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #06-30 ERMINE BOULEVARD CULVERT <br />REPLACEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 14,2008 the Ramsey City Council adopted a resolution <br />accepting plans and specifications and authorizing the solicitation of bids; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for IP #06-30 Ermine Boulevard <br />Culvert Replacement bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on November 7, <br />2008; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 10,2008 the Ramsey City Council authorized awarding bids <br />for IP 06-30 Ermine Blvd Culver Replacement to Dryden Excavating Inc. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment No 1 to Dryden Excavating Inc. in the amount of$84,293.86. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends Partial Payment No 2. in the amount of $84,293.86 to Dryden Excavating Inc. <br />which includes the compensation included in Change Order No 1. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment No 3 to Dryden Excavating Inc. in the amount of $20,382.54. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment No 4 to Dryden Excavating Inc. in the amount of $3,172.35. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Dryden Excavating Inc. for <br />Improvement Project #06-30 Ermine Boulevard Culvert Replacement in the amount of <br />$3,172.35 <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of July 14,2009. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-07-137 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
