Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #09-07-154 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 2ND PARTIAL PAYMENT TO AMERICAN LIBERTY CONSTRUCTION FOR IP 08-22 SUNFISH LAKE PARK WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and' WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work on January 9,2009; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for IP 08-30 Alpine Park Skate Park, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on March 11; 2009; and WHEREAS, Public Works DirectorlPrincipal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to American Liberty Construction in the amount of$31,730.53. WHEREAS, Public Works DirectorlPrincipal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to American Liberty Construction in the amount of$67,775.15. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to American Liberty Construction for Improvement Project 08-22 Sunfish Lake Park in the amount of $67,775.15. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount ofthis payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of July 28,2009. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
