Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #09-07-155 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 2ND & FINAL PAYMENT TO NORTH COUNTRY CONCRETE, INC FOR IP 08-30 ALPINE PARK SKATE PARK WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work on June 24, 2008; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for IP 08-30 Alpine Park Skate Park, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on August 19,2008; and WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to North Country Concrete, Inc. in the amount of$94,353.80. WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to North Country Concrete, Inc. in the amount of $45,443.20. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to North Country Concrete, Inc. for Improvement Project 08-30 Alpine Park Skate Park in the amount of $45,443.20. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of July 28, 2009. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
