Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-08- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />TO GERALD AND tCa~R.EN SCHMIDT TO EXCEED THE SIZE RESTRICTIONS FOR <br />A DETACHED ACCESSORY BUILDING ON PROPERTY FROM 14,880-43,559 <br />SQUARE FEET AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME: _ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Gerald and Karen Schmidt (Perm/trees) have properly applied for a <br />condit/onal use permit to exceed detached accessory building size restrictions for properties ~om <br />14,880-43,559 square feet established in section 9.11.02 "Accessory.. Uses" of City Code on the <br />property generally 'known as 15243 Yak/ma Street NW and legally deschbed as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block l, Gorhams Sandy Acres, Anoka County., M/rmesota <br /> <br />(Subject Property) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on August 7. '~ ~ <br /> ~ , :00o, conducted the <br />public heating and recommended City Council approval of the request. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF t~aPvlSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />Based on Findings of Fact # , a COnditional Use Permit (Permit) to exceed detached <br />accessory building size restrictions for properties from 14,880-43,559 square feet as <br />established in City. Code, is hereby wanted to Gerald and Karen Schrrfidt, hereinafter referred <br />to as the "Permittees". <br /> <br />That the detached accessory, building may exceed the 1,488-square-foot detached accessow <br />building size restriction for properties from 14,880-43,559 square feet by a total Of 456 <br />square .feet in order to store vehicles and .oth6~ personal property. .. <br /> <br />That the detached accessory, building constructed on the property will comply with the <br />permitted accessory structure height restrictions established 52 City Code. <br /> <br />That the construction of the detached accessory building on the Subject Property shall require <br />issuance of a building permit from the City, of Ramsey and tl~e Permittees are a/lowed to use <br />vinyl or hardboard siding as exterior material for the building. <br /> <br />That the accessory building shall be properly constructed and maintained in accordance with <br />all applicable Uniform Building Codes. <br /> <br />6.
