CASE # <br /> <br />CONSIDER AUTHORIZATION OF DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH <br />RANISEY TOWN CENTER LLC <br /> By: James E. Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As the City Council is aware, the City of Ramsey has been in negotiations with the developer of <br />the proposed Town Center, Ramsey Town Center LLC, for many months. A Memorandum of <br />Understanding was completed and siDaed on April 11, 2003. The Memorandum laid out a <br />procedure for both parties to negotiate for a development agreement in good faith. <br /> <br />The City Council has discussed the development agreement in work sessions on July 11 and <br />August 12. Negotiations continued through the week of August 18 and it .is anticipated that a <br />draft agreement will be prepared for Council consideration during the meeting of August 26. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to authorize execution of development agreement with Ramsey Town Center LLC for <br />development of a Town Center. <br /> <br />lO <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />CC: 08/26/03 <br /> <br />-211- <br /> <br /> <br />
