' <br /> <br />ChaiCerson Nixt indicated that it is apparent they are not going to resolve this tonight, and he <br />would like staff to make a list of the errors on the maps. <br /> <br />Phncipal Planner Trudgeon clarified that the road issue raised by Ms. Tersreeg is different than <br />the Comprehensive Plan changes. <br /> <br />A short recess was called at 9:53 p.m. Chairperson Nixr reconvened the meeting at 9:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Mandy Jensen, 6211 Riviyn Avenue, asked what her lot is zoned today. <br /> <br />Principal <br /> Planner Trudgeon indicated today it is single-family Ri, however the comprehensive <br />Plan shows it as industr/ai. <br /> <br />Ms. Jensen asked what the next step will be. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon indicated the CiD' does not have any plans at this time, bur there have <br />been discussions that this may be an area for redevelopment in the furore. <br /> <br />Francis Welte, 16051 Alpine Street, stated she was here concerning her property as a business. <br />She stared they are ~andfathered now', and if the Ci~ is re-zoning eve ~ryrking between Hwy t 0 <br />and the railroad track to B2, why are they nor re-zoning her property to make it conforming. <br /> <br />Consultant Gordon stated this was 9 good point, and he thinks they should take it under <br />advisement. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hanson indicated there are many uses not listed an,vwhere; theatres and perform~nce arts <br />. establishments, video rental stores, to name a few. He asked that staff review the list. He stated <br />his other issue was on the public hearing. Since the information sent to th~ public was incorrect, <br />the CiU will need to send out another map and hold another public hearing. <br /> <br />Morion by Chairperson Nixr, seconded by Comm/ssioner Reeve, ro close the public hearing at <br />t0:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chai~erson Nixr, Commissioners Reeve,. Brauer, Van Scoy 'and <br />Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Comm/ssioners Johnson and Shepherd. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt suggested idenri~ing areas on the map with an error or on-fission and re- <br />noticing property.' oxamers withian 700 feet of those areas. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt moved to retract the motion to close the public hearing, and moved to continue <br />the public hearing.
