Councitmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLTTION #03-08- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION iDENTIFYING FINDINGS, AJ'PROVING A COMPRHENSIVE PLAN <br />AIViENDMENT TO CI4~NGE A LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM PLACES TO WORK <br />TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, AND AUTHORIZING CITY STAf'F TO SUBMIT ~4~N <br />APPLICATION TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR AN AMENDMENT TO TIq_E <br />C OMPREI4__ENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on 2003, the City of Ramsey received a petition from residents of <br />Rivlyn Ave. NW (Petitioners) requesting an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the <br />futUre land use designation of their properties located on 1Kivlyn Ave. NW from Places to Work to <br />Low Density Residential for the following legally- described propemy: <br /> <br />That part of Lot 26, Auditors Subdivision No. 96, Anoka County, Minnesota described as <br />follows: Commencing ar the point of inersection of the northerly line of Pdvlyn Avenue <br />as laid out in the plat of Dickensons Mississippi Estate with the easterly line of Poplar <br />Drive (Now known as Tungsten Street NW') as laid out in said plat. Thence southeasterly <br />along said northly line of Pdvlyn Avenue as shown in said plat and its extension a distance <br />of 500 feet to a point to be hereafter known as point (D) for the purpose of ti'tis <br />description. Thence northeasterly parallel with said easterly line of Tungsten Street NW <br />to a point of intersection with the somherly line of that parcel of land described as follows <br />and hereinafter known as parcel (A).
