WatetfrontArea Development <br /> <br /> <br />ANACOSTIA <br />JIIIII""':..;j ~ <br />WATERFRONT <br />Corporation <br /> <br />Providing real estate development advisory services to the Anacostia Waterfront Corporation (A WC) to <br />redevelop the Poplar Point site and the Anacostia Metro Station. A WC is working with several District <br />agencies, the U.S. Congress, and the National Park Service to convey the ownership of Poplar Point from <br />the United States to AWe. Technical guidance includes preparation of development programs and <br />phasing, feasibility analysis of development options including financing strategies and market analysis, <br />parking management strategies, strategies to develop the Anacostia Metro Station parcel, and <br />evaluation I recommendation of developer selection options. The new plan will include the delineation <br />of future public parks, new neighborhood development, memorial sites, restored wetlands, and <br />improved access to the river from Ward 8 neighborhoods. <br /> <br />For the Anacostia Metro Station site, prepared a financial analysis and joint development agreement for <br />a major state of the art new government headquarters building, as part of a Mixed-Use, Transit-Oriented <br />Development which will also include a new office building occupied by District Government offices and <br />additional private sector development. <br /> <br />Basile Baumann Prost Cole & Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />Public/Private Development Advisors <br />
