Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #09 -11. -NXX <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ERIN CONTRACTING FOR <br />IP 08 -36 144 AVENUE EXTENSION <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above - referenced work on July 22, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for City project 08 -36, bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law on August 19, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson <br />has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Erin Contracting in the <br />amount of $226,722.16. <br />WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson <br />has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Erin Contracting in the <br />amount of $12,572.19. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />RESOLUTION #09 -1 t -XX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Erin Contracting for <br />Improvement Project 08 -36 in the amount of $12,572.19. <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of November 24, 2009. <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmeinber <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />c Io <br />
