<br />Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-09-214 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO NORTHWEST ASPHALT, INC. FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08-37, COUNTY POND STORM SEWER OUTLET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 28, 2008 the Ramsey City Council authorized the solicitaion of bids <br />from plans prepared by staff, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project 08-37,County Pond <br />Storm Sewer Outlet, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 9, 2008 the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for IP#08-37 <br />to Northwest Asphalt in the amount of $392,249.17. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends 1st partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of <br />$159,694.20. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends 2nd partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of <br />$15,033.75. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends 3rd partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of . <br />$12,644.93. . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends 4th partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of <br />$92,664.09. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends 5th partial payment to Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of . <br />$29,791.62. <br /> <br />.
