Voting No: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Consider Proposal from URS regarding East Meandering Commons Park <br /> <br />City Engineer Rimmer reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Mayor Ramsey, to authorize staff to enter into a <br />professional services agreement withURS and Close Landscape Architecture to purchase the <br />aforementioned construction documents in. the amount of $22,810 based upon City ;Attomey <br />review and approval and to authorize staff to negotiate additional consulting services for <br />potential park refinement (as directed by Council) in an amount notto exceed $20,000.00. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Elvig asked if the plans would be owned by the City. City <br />Engineer Rimmer responded the plans would be. owned by the City without restriction. City <br />Attorney Goodrich stated he was concerned about not having a warranty on the services and he <br />would be working on this issue. Councilmember Dehen stated he wanted a warranty and that <br />should be expected. City Engineer Rimmer noted this was a standard contract and he did not <br />anticipate there would be any problems with negotiating a warranty. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Y es:Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Dehen, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Authorize Request for Proposals for Architectural and Construction <br />Management Services for Build Out of Lease Space in Municipal Center <br /> <br />Deputy City Administrator Nelson reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to authorize a Request for <br />Proposals for Architectui-al and Construction Management Services. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Wise, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Jeffrey, and McGlone.
