<br />The benefits integra/ion meetings
<br />have slarted with the HR Live
<br />Buzz on your new medical plan. The meetings were held
<br />September 3D and October 1 and a few of the high level key
<br />points on the medical plan are:
<br />

<br />· Employees now have options and can choose between 3 medi-
<br />cal plans - the premium plan, the value plan, and a high de-
<br />ductible health plan
<br />· Two additional contribution levels were added - employee and
<br />spouse and employee and children which provides more pre-
<br />mium flexibility
<br />· The new medical plans nol onty add options but at so add more
<br />value. A few examples are 90% coinsurance, no deductibles,
<br />unlimited lifetime maximum. and comparable co-pays.
<br />· The network for Blue Cross Blue Shield is very strong and in-
<br />cludes the vast majority of current doctors and hospitals.

<br />· A high deductible plan has been added and has higher deducti-
<br />bles - this plan allows for lower employee premiums and tax
<br />advantaged savings.
<br />· The Thrive Health Wellness program focuses on providing em-
<br />ployees with an awareness of their health situation - the pro-
<br />gram will be rolled out in March 2010.
<br />· The Financial Wellness program also can add value to employ-
<br />ees through education and analysis of employee's financial
<br />situation -this program will be rolled out in Seplember 2010.

<br />The IT group has been using Microsoft Office
<br />Communicator and Live Meeting since ]une...a pilot group of about
<br />35 people have been using it for the past two months...and now it is
<br />time for us to roll this tool out to additional departments. With Micro-
<br />soft Office Communicator, you will be able to have an instant mes-
<br />sage conversation With fellow employees in MN and Pittsburgh. Pilot
<br />group members said that this is a great way to get a hold of people
<br />and to get questions answered quickly. live Meeting is a web confer-
<br />encing option that will allow you to create ad hoc meetings with oth-
<br />ers, share a PowerPoint slide, share your desktop or COllaborate on
<br />documents. Feedback from the pilot group indicated that this is an
<br />effective way to host meetings with people in Pittsburgh or outside of
<br />the organization.
