<br />r J l ;:,' 7 <br /> <br /> <br />AllOka-Ramsey'Community'College One "Stbp Shop <br /> <br />- ~ -~ ~ '," ~Iterafions <br /> <br /> <br />Design Intent: <br />Identified in the student center addition <br />project as Phase 2 of the long-range plan, <br />the One Stop Shop Alteration combines <br />currently isolated departments into a single <br />space to provide students one location to <br />access student services such as financial <br />aid, student records, business office and <br />purchasing. In addition to providing a more <br />welcoming, student friendly environment, <br />many efficiencies were created by combining <br />the departments through the shared use of <br />storage, work room and conference facilities <br />that resulted in reduced space needs and a <br />reduction in construction costs. <br /> <br />Students access the One Stop Shop area via <br />three walk-up windows that are located within <br />a circulation node off the main circulation <br />corridor. Freestanding kiosks will also be <br />provided to. encourage on-line access by <br />students.
