Our Quality Management Department consists of three certified construction specifiers headed by Rod Erickson, FCSI/CCS. Rod is an instructor and author on construction documents and technology and a national lecturer on building systems and materials. Sustainable Design ATS&R's projects encompass all of the I principles of sustainable design from life cycle performance to materials selection. ATS&R has been designing for energy efficiency for over 30 years and was invited by the American Lung Association to serve on the Indoor Air Quality Task Force to develop guidelines to improve indoor air quality in schools. Additionally, ATS&R has experience designing buildings with attention given to building related illness (BRI) and sick building syndrome. ----------__________________________________________________________________J 4 Construction Cost Estimating Sixty-five years of specializing in facility design provides ATS&R with an established history and expertise to successfully identify needs and project accurate budgets. The budgets developed by ATS&R include all items required for the design, construction, furnishings/ fixtures/ equipment, on-site/ off-site development, start-up costs, and operational cost estimates. ATS&R utilizes cost records from previous projectsj ,meets with suppliers, vendors, and contractors; utilizes the building cost indexes; meets with the city and county; and meets with the owner to ensure all needs have been included.
