'..:

"ATS&R's knowledge of ISO 11 facilities
extends over 40 years of experience with our
schools and our concerns; their consistency in
delivering first class product is unsurpassed.
ATS&R's extensive knowledge ...has saved
our district time and money."

Denny Carlson
Superintendent of Schools
Anoka.Hennepin Public School District

ATS&R proposes to coordinate the design of the remodeled space with the City of Romsey
and Anoka County representatives in a collaborative way of communications that will keep
everyone informed and in agreement as the project moves forward.

Initially, the process will start with identifying the City and County representatives, their
responsibilities and needs. This will involve a smaller group of key decision-makers in the
process. A larger group of staff may also be interviewed for gathering information. This
I group may consist of a single representative or two from each party, the City of Ramsey
represented by Heidi Nelson, Deputy City Administrator, and an intern, an Anoka County
License Center or facilities management representative and ATS&R representatives Dan
Moll, Project Architect, and Kim Sorenson, Interior Designer.

We will meet individually and/or together, in an efficient use of everyone's time, to
understand specific needs, engage the users of the spaces to gather information, look at
examples, provide feedback on options, and generally review and comment on the work as
we progress together as a team.

It will be important collectively to resolve any conflicts or issues that might arise in the
sharing of space in a single facility, discuss cost alternatives and their implications as well
as work within the timelines identified for the work.

Once a design is agreed upon, architectural documents for bidding will be prepared,
confirming and finalizing the scope of the work and estimated cost. This will be approved
prior to issuing for bids.

During the bid period, ATS&R will answer requests for information, document any
clarifications, conduct a pre-bid conference if desired, and assist in the evaluation of bids.
During construction, ATS&R will provide project administration by responding to questions
from the general contractor in a timely manner, reviewing the work for compliance with
the design and construction document intent, reviewing changes to the work and pay
applications, performing a final punch list for the certificate of substantial completion and
participating in the closeout of the project.

ATS&R will also provide for coordination with the City representative for relocation of staff
and system furniture as included in the scope of work of the RFP. ATS&R has worked with
Intereum and is familiar with their staff, product selections, and working requirements.

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

~--------------------------------------------------------------------.
