<br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTION <br />MANAGEMENT SERVICES <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey is requesting proposals fi'om qualified finns to provide architectural and <br />construction management services for the remodel of office space in the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center to accommodate the lease of approximately 2,200 square feet to the Anoka County <br />License Center. Proposals must be submitted in electronic format (preferably pdt) and are due <br />no later than Friday. November 13.2009 at 4:30 p.m. to hnelson@ci.ramsey.mn.us or may be <br />delivered on electronic media to Ramsey Municipal Center, Attn: Heidi Nelson, Deputy City <br />Administrator/Director of Community Development, 7550 Sunwwod Drive NW, Ramsey, MN <br />55303. All questions should be directed to Heidi Nelson at 763-433-9817 or <br />hnelson@ci.ramsey.mn.us. <br /> <br />Project SCORe: <br />1. Provide remodeling for approximately 2,200 sq. ft. office lease space for Anoka <br />County License Center in the current occupied first .floor City Finance and <br />Community Development Office Areas. <br />2. Remodel remaining first floor space in the above area to a mid-size conference <br />room space. <br />3. Coordinate for the relocation of City Finance and Community Development to the <br />second floor Administration, and Engineering Department. Create two office <br />spaces in the "future" office space on second floor. <br />4. City will contract directly with each contractor perfonning work. <br />5. Attached is the proposed layout of the spaces. The spaces will be further defined <br />through the design process. (Exhibit A) <br /> <br />Scope of work includes. but is not limited to the following: <br />1. Provide project management services for estimating, scheduling, bidding, and <br />construction coordination of the above-described work. On-site construction <br />coordination to be provided by General Trades contractor. <br />2. Provide architectural floor plan and finish schedule to match existing finishes in <br />the remodeled spaces. <br />3. Coordination with City and County representatives for desi!,'11 of remodeled space. <br />4. Coordination with City representative for relocation of staff. <br />5. Coordination with City representative for system furniture. <br /> <br />Scope of Work Excludes: <br />1. System furniture design and coordination. <br />2. Mechanical and Electrical Drawings. <br />3. Building pelmit (to be paid by City). <br /> <br />ProjectTimeline: <br />October 28 <br /> <br />November 13 <br /> <br />RFP issued <br />Proposals due <br />
