Several strategically located plasma
display monitors were installed in the
cafeteria. GCG also provided a message
and scheduling system. Diners can
view a continuous video feed from a
DSS satellite system as well as
scheduling information. A full sound
system also allows J. D. Edwards to use
the cafeteria for /I all employee"
meetings and special events.

The facility also has a nO-seat auditorium. Systems were designed to provide full
production capabilities in this room. A control room is located in the back of the room
where the rack-mounted components, including DVD, VCR, audio amplifiers, and A/V
switchers are housed. Two high-output Sanyo data/video projectors are mounted from
the auditorium ceiling projecting onto Stewart screens. The projectors can project one
image simultaneously to both screens or separate images to each screen. The auditorium
is arranged with tiered classroom style seating. Interfaces have been installed into the
tables to allow audience members to plug in their laptop computers. GCG provided
stage and spot lighting in the auditorium to allow proper lighting for videoconferencing
or video productions. A live video feed from the auditorium can be routed to other areas
in the facility, including the cafeteria. A full AMX control system can operate the
audiovisual and lighting systems from either the control room or from two movable
podiums.

~
;J
o
~
l?
rJJ
Z
o
J-iI
~
<
U
J-iI
Z
;J
~
~
o
u
~
o
~
~
~
l?
