<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-10-239 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE USE OF THE SEPTIC <br />SYSTEM REPAIR POLICY TO REPAIR A FAILED SEPTIC SYSTEM AT 16207 <br />AZURITE STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the onsite septic system serving the property located at 16207 Azurite Street has <br />failed and is a public health hazard; and, <br /> <br />Whereas, the Owner has been ordered to be repair or replace the failed system; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has adopted a policy entitled "Septic System Repair" to address for the <br />repair of failed systems through assessment of the costs to the property tax; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Owner is unable to finance the repair! replacement of the property's onsite <br />septic system and has requested the repair of the system under the terms of the Policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That a public hearing <br />shall be held on the use of the Septic System Repair Policy to repair a failed septic system at <br />16207 Azurite Street, which shall cause the cost of said repair to be assessed to property with an <br />administrative fee and interest, on the 11 th day of March, 2008 in the Council Chambers of the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City <br />Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as <br />required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Look and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-10-239 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
