<br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Van Scoy, Commissioners Brauer, Hunt, and <br />Rogers. Voting No: Commissioner Dunaway. Absent: Chairperson Levine and Commissioner <br />Cleveland. <br /> <br />ChairPerson Van Scoy temporarily adjourned the Planning Commission meeting to go back to <br />the Board of Adjustment meeting at 8:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Chairperson Van Scoy reconvened the Planning Commission meeting at 9: 11 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Request for Sketch Plan Review of Elmcrest Sanctuary Located at 16601 <br />Quicksilver Street NW; Case of Oakwood Land Development <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill diagramed on the map where the septic system encroachment is <br />located, lot configuration, the road connections and frontage, the access easement, and future <br />road configurations. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated the applicant's engineer is required to show on the site plan the <br />alignment of the park road before going to final plat. <br /> <br />John Peterson, 16735 Nowthen Blvd. NW, the applicant, presented the history of the parcel and <br />the reason for the minor subdivision. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated that Quicksilver Street will not be realigned until the future <br />land use is determined. He also stated that the septic system issues will be addressed before the <br />plat is recorded. Staff will continue to work with Mr. Peterson. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the septic system encroachment, Quicksilver Street alignment and <br />the acce.ss easement and how it relates to the final plat approval and recording. <br /> <br />. Chairperson VanScoy stated that he sees the two issues that need to be worked out are the access <br />to the parcel and the septic system. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Staff Update <br /> <br />The Staff Update was noted. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brauer requested information regarding the foreclosures in the city. <br /> <br />Planning CommissionlNovember 5, 2009 <br />Page 6 of7 <br />
