<br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Wise, Dehen, E1vig, and <br />McGlone. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 7: 17 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7: 17 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember E1vig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to Introduce the <br />Ordinance amending Section 2.5 of the City Charter amending the procedure for announcing <br />Council vacancies and Section 4.5 of the City Charter amending the procedures for filing a <br />vacancy in an elected office of the City when there is a vacancy less than eight weeks prior to the <br />primary election. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig,Look, Dehen, McGlone, <br />and Wise. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Request for Home Occupation Permit to Operate a Concrete and Masonry <br />Contractor Service at 15740 Azurite Court NW; Case of Curtis A.Kriens <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen asked Mr. Kriens ifhe realized he was illegally burning on the property. <br /> <br />Mr. Kriens responded he realized that once the Fire Chief had informed him. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen asked Mr. Kriens ifhe had been dumping off of his property. <br /> <br />Mr. Kriens responded he had done some dumping in the past to stabilize the ground. <br /> <br />Councilmember Look asked if the City had received any complaints other than the illegal <br />burning. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill responded the only complaints were the illegal burning and dumping <br />of concrete. He indicated there were terms in the permit to address these issues. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen asked if the City had incurred any expenses for clean-up of the concrete. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill responded the City incurred approximately $1,000 costs forthe clean- <br />up of the concrete and had not been reimbursed for this clean-up. <br /> <br />Mr. Kriens stated that was his cOllcrete and he was agreeable to reimbursing the City for the <br />clean-up expense. <br /> <br />City Council!
