The second connection, further to the east, would require acquisition of part of the lot presently managed by MPCA. This would allow for street, and/or trail connections from 148th to the cuI de sac of Gamet Street. Justification -I .... Two important trail opportunities exist relative to Peltzer Park.. The first is- immediately available, and consists of extending the access trail to the play equipment - around the cuI de sac easterly to right-of-way on 148th lane. This provides residents of Regency Ponds more of a direct acces~ to the park. The second connection, further to the east, would require acquisition of part bfthe lot presently managed by MPCA. This would allow for street, and/or trail connections from 148th to the cuI de sacof Gamet Street, and thereby improve access to both Peltzer and Alpine Parks - as well as provide a circuitous walking loop within these neighborhoods.
