The Economic <br />Development Coordinator presented some market data. relating to the Ramsey <br />Town Center and its surrounding market. The Steering Committee reviewed the <br />information and identified. some key ideas to consider moving forward in the <br />development process. <br />Although. the current market is difficult the data appears to support some <br />opportunities for specific users, not speculative space. Along-term <br />development strategy that is proactive, not reactive and. targets specific <br />businesses might be a good course of action. As always there are risks with <br />such a large project. Yau must not Lose sight of your fiscal responsibilities to the <br />taxpayers of the City of Ramsey with this development. Keeping a pulse on <br />market conditions and identifying specific users that are expanding in our region <br />need to be a focus of energy. When opportunities arise you must be swift <br />enough to act responsibly. <br />
