<br />Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-11-260 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08-34, THE BITUMINOUS PAVING OF 151 ST AVENUE, <br />152ND AVENUE AND FLUORINE STREET IN SECTION 24 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted May 27, 2008, a <br />feasibility study for Improvement Project #08-34, the Bituminous Paving Of 1515t Avenue, <br />152nd Avenue And Fluorine Street In Section 24 has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, <br />Assistant City Engineer; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on November lO, 2009 which <br />indicates that the total basic project cost is estimated to be $346,584 and that the amount of the <br />basic project to be special assessed shall be $100,962 and that $137,518 will be utilized from the <br />storm water utility fund, and that be $137,518 will be utilized from the city's general fund. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements which include grading and <br />bituminous paving and storm sewer in accordance with the report and the assessment of <br />abutting property for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of <br />$100,962. <br /> <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 8th day of <br />December, 2009 at Ramsey City Hall 7550 Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City <br />Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as <br />required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counci1member <br />Dehen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Counci1member Dehen <br />Counci1member Look <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 09-11-260 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
