Case #4: Flaherty & Collins Agreement
City Administrator Ulrich stated the City Attorney had drafted the Flagherty & Collins
Agreement pursuant to the HRA direction. He summarized the Agreement.
Chairperson Dehen asked if there was any downside to this.
City Attorney Goodrich responded there was not, particularly with the 30 day out.
Commissioner Look stated Flagherty had not asked for the exclusivity agreement and he
believed there was a disadvantage to this. He stated the HRA should have seen the agreement
before it was sent to Flagherty.
City Attorney Goodrich explained why an exclusivity agreement was necessary. He noted
though that the City could cancel the Agreement with a 30-day notice.
It was the consensus of the HRA to leave it as it was and to execute the Agreement.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
None.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT
None.
COMMISSIONER INPUT
None.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Commissioner Elvig, seconded by Commissioner Look, to close the special meeting
of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority.
Motion carried.
The regular meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority adjourned at 10:33 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Kurtis G.
