3. Surfacing <br />(a) Inside the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) <br />(1) Currents licensed and offerable motor vehicles, the <br />primary purpose of which is for private <br />transportation or recreational use may be parked: <br />(i) In the front yard if on a drivewav <br />(ii) In the side or rear yard provided it is parked <br />on a residential parking surface that consists <br />of either bituminous~avement or concrete. <br />(2) Equipment for which the primary_purpose is private <br />or personal/recreational use maybe parked: <br />(i) In the front yard if on a drivewav. <br />(ii) In the side yard on a residential parkin <br />surface of either bituminous pavement or <br />concrete. <br />(iii)In the rear yard on an unimproved surface. <br />(b) Outside the Metr~olitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) <br />(1) Currently licensed and offerable motor vehicles, the <br />primary purpose of which is for private <br />transportation or recreational use maybe parked: <br />(i) In the front yard if on a drivewav. <br />(ii) In the side or rear yard provided it is parked <br />on a residential parking surface that consists <br />of either bituminous pavement, concrete, or <br />prepared gravel/Class V of at least two (2) <br />inches in d~th that is applied to the entire <br />area beneath the motor vehicle and <br />extending twelve (12) inches around the <br />perimeter of the motor vehicle. <br />(2) Equipment for which the primary_pumose is private <br />or personaUrecreational use may be parked: <br />(i) In the front yard if on a drivewav. <br />(ii) In the side yard on a residential parkin <br />surface of bituminous pavement, concrete, <br />or Class V of at least two (2) inches in <br />
