Councilmember Elvig noted this was an internal City street and the City could do what they
wanted to do with it. He indicated Public Works had discussed this and it was decided to
recommend a total reconstruction.
Mayor Ramsey asked if they should narrow Dysprosium down considering what the City might
be forced to do with Bunker Lake Boulevard.
Public Works Director Olson noted Dysprosium was wide enough for two lanes in each
direction, but the City was not going to put in two lanes. He indicated there might be slightly
less capacity being narrower, but not substantially.
Mayor Ramsey stated the City might want to consider keeping Dyyprosium wide and not narrow
it down. He suggested putting pressure. on the County.
Public Works Director Olson stated when there was added capacity put on Highway #47; it was
more detrimental to Anoka's property owners than it was to Ramsey's property owners.
Councilmember Wise suggested having a joint meeting with Anoka Council before any money
was spent.
Councilmember Dehen stated this has been going on for so long and wondered how long the City
should wait when the road was in disrepair.
The Council's consensus was to discuss this further at a future meeting.
3) Consider Amendments to Brookfield First Second and Third Additions
Development Agreements and Amendments to the Related Water and Sanitary
Sewer Cost Contribution/Reimbursement Agreement
City Attorney Goodrich reviewed his report.
Public Works Director Olson summarized the issues with the trail access.
Bill Dorn, representing. 21 S` Century Bank, noted they have been working on this since April and
they had six major issues to be resolved.
The consensus was to accept trail easement resolution as described.
Mr. Dorn summarized the homeowner's association issues. He noted the association would be
fixed, as the bank still owned the majority of the lots.
City Attorney Goodrich recommended the Council accept the Settlement Agreement, which was
a standard agreement.
City Attorney Goodrich summarized the Sewer/Water Agreement.
City Council Work Session /December 8, 2009
Page 3 of 6
