Richard Kruger nominated Keith Kiefer for Chair, <br /> Suzanne Dvorak nominated Susan Anderson for Vice-Chair. Motion passed. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Review Housing Committee Mission Statement and Scope of Duties. City <br />Administrator Norman discussed the reasons behind the EDA's decision to create the <br />Housing Committee, primarily to look at housing issues in the City of Ramsey. The <br />Housing Committee reviewed the mission and scope of duties created.by the EDA <br />and discussed what types of projects they might like to undertake. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Presentation of Past Housing Projects and Potential Future Housing Projects. <br />City Administrator Norman discussed several residential redevelopment projects that <br />the City has been a part of in the past and presented options for potential projects the <br />Housing Committee may wish to consider undertaking. He explained that there is no <br />formal process set up to do such projects; the City Council would need a <br />recommendation from the Housing Committee and the EDA to take action. Suzanne <br />Dvorak requested information on the acreage of each site. ' <br /> <br />The Housing Committee discussed the potential projects presented-for consideration. <br />In regards to the West of Sunfish Lake site, Suzanne DvOrak suggested the City <br />consider earmarking park dedication funds from the Village at Sunfish Lake project <br />for proposed park land. City Administrator Norman said this had already been <br />discussed at the staff level and noted a lack of trail connectivity in the area. He also <br />suggested the Housing COmmittee consider how they wanted to uSe the proceeds <br />generated from these projects: to fund other work on a case-by-case basis or to <br />establish a fund for larger, future projects. <br /> <br /> <br />
