There are some basic guidelines for the operation of the program: <br /> <br />1. The program is only open t6 people who live inAnoka County that meet ourgUidelines. <br /> your picture ID and complet,ed application to the warehouse. <br /> <br />Home to Home program provides donated furniture and household items for lower income people who need <br /> <br />You will need to bring <br /> <br />Items that are taken from the ~arehouse cannot be sold or given to someone else. If someone else needs furniture, <br />they can call 783-4735 for information. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />We d~not deliver furniture. You must provide your own truck or trailer. The Agency is not <br />responsible for charges incurred by renting a truck or trailer or time missed from work. <br /> <br />4. We do not hold furniture. <br /> <br />We do not guarantee the availability of fUrniture and beds and we do not keep' waiting lists for furniture <br />and beds. Staff at the office is not aware of what is available at the warehouse. <br /> <br />We do not load furniture and we do not provide rope or tie down items. <br /> <br />7. Individuals/families can only use the warehouse once a year. (No children at warehouse, please) <br /> <br />Your application must be completed and verified by a referring agency t° schedule an appointment: A 24-hour <br />notice is required if you are unable to keep your appointment. If this notice is not received, you must wait two <br />weeks to reschedule. (Applications are good for three months.) <br /> <br />9. The warehouse is open on Tuesdays by appointment only. <br /> <br />10. We do not guarantee the condition of the items that you take.from the warehouse. It is your responsibility to ensure <br /> that .you are satisfied with your choice before you leave the warehouse (no returns or. exchanges). <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />You are allowed up to four upholstered furniture items, two other 'items, and beds (°nly one taped item per <br />household). If available, only one dresser or kitchen table per household. Other household items are typically <br />available and you may also choose some of these (such as pots.& pans, dishes, linens.) <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />ACCAP reserves the right to refuse service to people who are disruptive/argumentative or abuse the warehoUse (i.e. <br />attempting to receive merchandise more than once a year), These people will be asked to leave.
