party, nor act as arbiter, nor be receptive to complaints from landlord or tenant which are <br />not clearly relevant to the provisions of this Section_. <br /> <br /> Subd. 4. Definitions: For purposes of this Section, only the <br />following definitions shall apply. Whenever the words "dwelling", "dwelling unit", <br />"premises", "building" or "structure" are used in this section, they shall be construed as <br />though they were followed by the words "or any part thereof." <br /> <br /> Accessory Structure - A structure subordinate to the main or principal <br />building which is not used or authorized to be used for living or sleeping by human <br />occupants and which is located on the premises. <br /> <br /> Approved - Approved as to construction, installation, and maintenance in <br />accordance with applicable statutes of the State and the provisions of the City ordinances. <br /> <br /> Basement - That portion of a building between floor and ceiling, which is <br />partly below grade but so located that the vertical distance froTM grade to floor below is <br />less than the vertical distance from grade to ceiling. <br /> <br />Bath - Bath shall mean a bathtub or shower stall. <br /> <br /> Bedroom - A habitable room within a dwelling unit which is used or <br />intended to be used primarily for the purpose of sleeping, but shall not include any <br />kitchen or dining area. <br /> <br /> Building - Any structure having a roof built for the shelter or enclosure of <br />persons, animals, or chattels. When a private garage is structurally attached to a <br />dwelling, it shall be considered as part of the building in which the dwelling unit is <br />located. <br /> <br /> Clean - The absence of rubbish, garbage, vermin, and other unsightly, <br />offensive, or extraneous matter. <br /> <br /> Common Interest Facility - A residential development including one or <br />more buildings in which individual units are intended to be separately owned and interior <br />and exterior common areas are owned and controlled by an association comprised of the <br />owners. <br /> <br /> Dwelling - A building, or portion thereof, designed or used for residential <br />occupancy of a continued nature, including single-family dwellings, two-family <br />dwellings, and multiple family dwellings, but not including hotels, motels, boarding or <br />rooming houses, nursing homes, bed and breakfasts, recreational vehicles, or tents. <br /> <br /> Dwelling Unit - A single residential ccomodation that is arranged, <br />designed, used, or, if vacant, intended for use exclusively as a domicile for one family. <br /> <br /> <br />
