<br />7.05: Consider Resolution Authorizing Acquisition Fee Title to Certain Properties <br />and Temporary and Permanent Easements Necessary for Construction of the <br />CSAH 116 and Armstrong Boulevard Intersection Improvements <br /> <br />City Engineer Himmel' reviewed the. staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wise stated he wanted to hear other optIons than the hard channel optimization. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig agreed, but noted this was probably not the time to discuss this. He <br />believed the County was "jamming this down the City's throat" right now when the City was not <br />prepared to do it. He stated he wanted to slow this project down. <br /> <br />Councilmember Look stated he did not know if the Council had any options, but to vote for this. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember McGlone, seconded by Mayor Ramsey, to approve Resolution #10- <br />01-021 authorizing acquisition of the necessary properties to construct the Armstrong Boulevard <br />and Bunker Lake Boulevard intersection improvements.. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers McGlone, Dehen, Elvig, and <br />Look. Voting No: Councilmember Wise. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. . <br /> <br />7.06: League of Minnesota Cities - Insurance Trust (LMC-IT) Waiver Form- <br />Consider WavingINo Waiving the Statutory Tort Limits <br /> <br />Deputy City Administrator Nelson reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Moti,on by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to Adopt Resolution #10- <br />01-022 Not Waiving the Statutory Tort Limits for League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust <br />Liability Coverage for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey; Councilmembers Look, Elvig, Dehen, McGlone, <br />and Wise. Voting No: None.
