ServeAnt -website solutions for professional organizations January 4, 2010 Mr. Dean Busch IT Manager City of Ramsey Dear Mr. Busch: I first want to thank you for allowing Bitwise Logic to present a proposal to you for redesigning the.City of Ramsey's website. Having grown up in Ramsey, I'm amazed at how much the city has grown since I lived there. When I met with you in May of last year we were just in the process of releasing our ServeAnt platform, so the quote I provided at that point was for a custom built website. While we can certainly develop a custom website for you, I feel that your needs will be much better served with a ServeAnt for Business website because it includes much more functionality than one of our "standard" custom sites -and gives you a lot more features enabling your website to grow with you in the future (see the Core ServeAnt Components section below or visit our website at bz.serveant.com for details). With the ServeAnt platform we can use our Web Designer to create a custom "look and feel" for your new website. This new design will sit on top of this code base and give you a customized look for the cities website. The integrated calendar (with our Event Registration module will serve your needs very well) and our proprietary CMS tools are very easy to use.. Another great feature of ServeAnt is that we have abuilt-in Blog Engine that's ready to use. The Transition PIan is very simple - we will begin with the Design Phase, which typically takes a week at the most. It is an iterative process and we don't stop until you're satisfied with'the design "look and feel". Once the design is complete - it only takes a few hours for us to integrate the design into the code base, so we will have the website in your hands (ready to add your content) in hours not weeks. From there -all it takes is a simple training session (usually done over the phone) and you're off and running. Once you have your content moved over all that needs to happen is to re-point your domain to our name servers and you're "live". In terms of cost for this approach -the one-time setup fee is $500. The Custom Design fee is $1,500 (this includes as many iterations as it takes to get the design exactly the way you want it). The ongoing Monthly Licensing Fee is $100.
