All construction documents must be <br />submitted to the County by October 3 1, 2010. <br />UTILITIES: <br />The parties agree that the Exhibit "A" Layout does not include specific proposed utility locations. The <br />City will be responsible for the design of any sanitary sewer and water main improvements, which will <br />be incorporated into the project bid documents. The cost of the design and constn~ction of these features <br />will be the responsibility of the City. The City's design of the sanitary sewer and water main utilities are <br />to include the signed plan sheets, specifications, estimated quantities and costs. All construction <br />documents must be submitted to the County by October 3 1, 2010. <br /> <br />PERMITS: <br />\\\ <br /> <br />The parties agree that the County will secure all necessary permits for this Project. The City agrees to <br />coordinate with the County in securing the permits required by the Lower Rum River Watershed <br />District. <br />SUMMARY: <br />This project has received federal funds which shall be applied to all constn~ction items that qualify. The <br />City will pay the entire required match for all construction on CSAH 57. The City will pay the match for <br />all construction west of CSAH 57, and all constn~ction 480 feet east of CSAH 57 on CSAH 116. <br />Standard cost shares will apply on the remainder of the project. This is consistent with the approved JPA <br />for the Ramsey Town Center. <br />Upon acceptance and signatures by the parties of this MOU, a separate Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) <br />for cost share and maintenance will be prepared by the County for execution by the City and the County <br />prior to acceptance of bids for this project. The JPA will formalize all estimated and actual cost shares. <br />The JPA is intended to be a binding executed legal document which addresses the rights and obligations <br />of the parties. <br />117 the interim, the attached Exhibit "B" provides a draft estimate of the constn~ction cost share of the <br />Project, be advised that this will change as the project design progresses, and Exhibit "C" provides the <br />County policy for cost splits on construction projects. <br />
