5.05 <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #10 -02- <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL <br />POLICY BOARD'S 2010 WORK PLAN <br />WHEREAS, The primary objective of the Environmental Policy Board is to review, <br />consider, initiate and recommend to City Council such policies, plans or projects that will <br />enhance and preserve the natural environment of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, The Environmental Policy Board's scope includes, but is not necessarily <br />limited to, matters of the preservation of the community forest, water quality, wetland <br />preservation, ground water protection, ecological preservation, control of soil erosion and air, <br />noise and light pollution; and <br />WHEREAS, The Environmental Policy Board is responsible for developing an annual <br />work plan subject to the approval of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves the 2010 Work Plan for the <br />Environmental Policy Board. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof. <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the XXXX day of February, 2010. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
