<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a work session on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, in <br />the Alexander Ramsey Room, Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jeff Wise <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator/Director of Comm Dev Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />Parks Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />Building Official Mick Kaehler <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:3J p.m. <br /> <br />TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) RALF Program Update <br /> <br />Deputy City Administrator Nelson stated this topic report is to give Council an update on <br />the RALF Program. <br /> <br />Jodi Ruehle, The Tinklenberg Group, presented an overview of the acquisitions and <br />money spent with regard to the RALF Program. <br /> <br />2) Anoka Hennepin School District - School Boundary Changes <br /> <br />Deputy City Administrator Nelson reported that recently she, along with City <br />Administrator Ulrich and Mayor Ramsey, met with representatives of the Anoka <br />Hennepin School District. One of the issues discussed was the proposed school closings <br />across the District. That affects the school boundaries within the City of Ramsey as some <br />of the Ramsey Elementary students will be attending school in Andover. Staff thought it <br />would be a good idea to have a representative from the District come in and talk to <br /> <br />City Council Work Session - December 1, 2009 <br />Page 1 of 16 <br />
